The LGBTQ agenda is increasingly being pushed onto young children and forcing them to be exposed to such materials at a very early age, when they are far too young to truly grasp the magnitude of such information and process it correctly. Unfortunately, there’s been a string of disturbing revelations about the LGBTQ agenda in California schools lately.
Los Angeles Unified School District has introduced a program to target children as young as four years old with information about the LGBTQ+ agenda. Not only is this an attempt to take control from the hands of parents, but it is a dangerous path in terms of forcing children to conform to the beliefs of the extreme left when it comes to sexuality.
The LAUSD’s Office of Human Relations, Equity, and Diversity introduced a ten week program called “Rainbow Club” to spread a far-left theory of gender to elementary school aged children, presented as a “virtual club for LGBTQ+ elementary school students, their friends, and their grown-ups.” The club is supported by the school district and is disguised as a space for children to talk with others about their sexuality, learn about new concepts in the LGBTQ+ community, and to “connect” them with their parents on the issue. However, when asked if parents were required to consent to their kindergarten-aged children’s participation in such a club, the district refused to respond.
The same office within LAUSD that created the Rainbow Club also created several presentations that push extreme gender theories onto young children. Some even encourage the exploration of the “two-spirit” Native American sexuality, and criticizes European settlers who, they claim, “imposed homophobia, rigid binary gender roles, and misogyny,” due to their Christian faith.
Another presentation on “LGBT Etiquette” encouraged children watching to introduce themselves to peers using their preferred pronouns, and included a video from Tinder that highlights individuals who identify as non-binary. These ideas are targeted at children who are too young to know any better, and who are now being indoctrinated with ideas that they are too young to fully understand.
This indoctrination continues within the classroom as well. The same office responsible for the club and presentations has also created a calendar filled with ways that teachers can highlight and encourage the LGBTQ agenda from month to month with their students. Called “Queer All School Year,” the calendar includes ideas such as holding an event in January to read a book about a two-year old boy who believes he is a girl. Introducing these concepts at such an early age prevents children from fully understanding their implications, and it takes control away from parents’ ability to protect their kids from dangerous ideas.
This is, unfortunately, not the first time that the LAUSD has been in the spotlight for its actions. Between hostile feelings toward Thanksgiving being pushed onto students and lying about teaching critical race theory, the district must be held accountable for its actions that endanger young minds and fill them with ideas that will harm them both now and later in their lives.
