Last month, Gov. Gavin Newsom invoked Scripture to support his radical pro-abortion views. He launched billboards advertising for abortion in several pro-life states, including Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas.
One of the billboards reads, “Need an abortion? California is ready to help.” Then it references Mark 12:31: “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these.” The billboards also advertise abortion.ca.gov, a state-run website inviting women in pro-life states to visit California to end their pregnancies.
CFC is challenging Newsom’s blatant pro-death messaging and shameful misuse of the Bible with our This is Your Neighbor campaign. The unborn are our neighbors, and as Newsom mentions, we are called to love them. This means we must let them live.
Help CFC spread the word about what loving your neighbor really looks like. To combat the blatant pro-death messages coming from our state government, we must spread the message of defending every life and supporting every mother.
