The radical left loves to use identity politics. According to many Democrat activists, almost any demographic group other than white conservative Christians ought to belong to their party, and voting otherwise indicates an unfortunate lack of self-awareness. Women are supposed to uniformly vote Democrat, and African Americans and other minorities are instructed that supporting far left, extremist views is simply self-explanatory and in their best interest.
Theoretically, a black woman should “belong” to far left progressivism and all of its tenets, based on the expectations of liberal politicians. Those tenets include a militant pro-LGBT ideology, which encourages exposing children to graphic sexual displays and drag queens, condones life-altering “treatments” not deemed safe for children confused about their gender, and abandoning any recognition of one’s biological sex and the protections that used to accompany those distinctions.
Not so fast, says a black woman in Los Angeles who erupted at the Wi Spa after a man allegedly exposed his penis to women and little girls in the women’s section of the facility.
Staff members at the spa claimed that the individual was able to choose which part of the spa he traversed according to his “sexual orientation.”
“So it’s okay?-” the woman said while confronting the staff, “- I just want to be clear with you – it’s okay, it’s okay for a man to go into the women’s section, show his penis around the other women, young little girls under age? Your spa, Wi Spa, condoned that. Is that what you’re saying?”
At one point, another man approaches the woman filming the interaction with the Wi Spa staff and scolds her, calling her a “d***.”
The woman had no patience for the reprimand. “Actually, I’m a woman who knows how to stand up and speak up for my rights,” she retorted. “As a woman, I have a right to feel comfortable without a man exposing himself.”
In today’s supercharged, politically correct society, it took guts for the woman to put her foot down and speak up for the safety of herself and the children. As a black woman, she is supposed to agree with the totality of the radical left’s platform, including the elimination of biological sex, according to progressive activists and politicians. Identity politics dictate that all individuals belonging to a certain demographic are supposed to think, speak, and act homogeneously.
Identity politics are insulting and condescending at its core. Individuals have unique experiences which shape their beliefs, and their ethnicity, religion, skin color, or any other identifying factor should not demand acquiescence to any political platform.
The extremists on the left, in this case, however, should find they have pushed identity politics too far.
Mothers and fathers of all demographic backgrounds have had enough with the Transgender lobby shoving disrespectful and dangerous policies down their throats, especially when vulnerable children become victimized.
Pro-family advocates have an opportunity to unite all parents and concerned adults to rally around the common-sense and biblical cause of protecting children and respecting biological differences. Americans have had enough: respect science, respect biological facts, and respect the timeless truths of the Bible, by protecting women and children.
