40 Days For Life Campaign Comes to a Close with At least 454 Babies Saved

40 Days for Life has just completed their largest campaign yet. The campaign comes to a close with 454 confirmed reports of babies saved from abortion. That number is not yet a complete total as reports and feedback continue to come in from the efforts of the volunteers with 40 Days for Life.

According to their website, “40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.”

Since the first coordinated 40 Days for Life campaign took place in 2007, they had held campaigns in 816 cities and in 56 countries.

The 40 Days for Life campaign officially ran this year from September 25 through November 3rd,

Throughout 40 Days for Life’ history over 16,000 lives have been saved, 191 abortion workers have quit, and 104 abortion centers have closed – thanks in part to the efforts of 40 Days for Life.

The community of 40 Days for Life includes over 1,000,000 volunteers, over 19,000 churches, and over 6,000 local campaigns.

There are tons of accounts of individuals who lives were positively impacted – and of course of babies saved who are now thriving. You can read more personal account of the 40 Days for Life volunteers, abortion survivors, and pro-life advocates on the 40 Days for Life blog

[Editor’s Note]: On Tuesday, November 19, 40 Days for Life will host a special LIVE video webcast to recap how your prayers and witness saved lives and changed hearts worldwide. Sign up for their email updates for more information.
