VP Mike Pence to Speak at March for Life Rose Dinner

Vice President Mike Pence is set to speak at the March for Life Rose Dinner on January 18, 2019. The Vice President also spoke last year at the March for Life, but spoke at the rally. The Rose Dinner is in a more intimate setting held after the March for Life rally and march.

The Vice President has been an outspoken advocate for life, affirming that the current administration firmly believes in the sanctity and dignity of human life. Pence has appeared at several pro life events since taking office, expressing his confidence that abortion will be abolished in our lifetime.

Last year President Donald Trump became the fist President in history to address the March for Life, doing so via live video feed. In his remarks, President Trump said:

The March for Life is a movement born out of love: you love your families; you love your neighbors; you love our nation; and you love every child born and unborn, because you believe that every life is sacred, that every child is a precious gift from God.

We know that life is the greatest miracle of all. We see it in the eyes of every new mother who cradles that wonderful, innocent, and glorious-newborn child in her loving arms. I want to thank every person here today and all across our country who works with such big hearts and tireless devotion to make sure that parents have the caring support they need to choose life.

The theme for this year’s March for Life is “Unique from Day One.” This will be the 46th annual March for Life.
