Over 200 pro life Members of Congress have signed and sent two separate letters to President Donald Trump asking him to veto any appropriations bills that would water-down any pro life policies that have already been implemented.
On Tuesday of this week, 169 members of the House of Representatives led by Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ) and 49 Senators led by Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) signed letters urging President Donald Trump to veto any legislation that would weaken pro life policy.

The letters thanked President Donald Trump for his commitment thus far to protecting pro life policies, but they urged the President to retain long-standing protections of the preborn, and even urged him to strengthen pro life laws in the country.
Live Action News reports that:
Both President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush signed pro-life commitment letters during their time in office, and George H.W. Bush followed through, issuing three pro-life vetoes. Pro-lifers want the same commitment from Trump.
The letter from the Senators noted that the Trump administration is one of the most pro life administrations in history.
“[…] We applaud your fight to ensure the conscience rights of healthcare professionals are protected, prevent taxpayer funding under Title X from going to facilities to perform or refer for abortion, and prevent taxpayer dollars from funding foreign abortion providers overseas through your Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance program,” the Senators wrote.
