Planned Parenthood Bullies Austin, TX Hyatt Hotel into Cancelling Screening of Gosnell Movie

The abortion giant Planned Parenthood has apparently bullied a Hyatt Hotel into cancelling a screening of the abortionist Kermit Gosnell movie screening that was scheduled to take place this weekend.

According to Lifenews:

Filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney said a pre-screening of the film, “Gosnell: America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” was scheduled for Saturday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin. The event coincided with a $400-a-plate Planned Parenthood fundraising gala, featuring former CEO Cecile Richards.

“… the Hyatt Hotel in Austin has caved to Cecile Richards and her Planned Parenthood thugs and canceled the Gosnell Movie screening in their hotel,” the filmakers said in an email to supporters Wednesday.

The movie is called, Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer, and officially opens on October 12, 2018 through independent film distributor, GVN Releasing. The movie stars Dean Cain and follows him through his investigation as the detective who ultimately put Gosnell behind bars.

WND reports more about the cancelled screening at the Austin, TX location:

The movie’s producers, however, were told Monday by the hotel the screen was canceled for “security reasons.”

The producers told WND they paid the deposit and signed the contract to reserve the space for the screening.

“Everything that was required by the Hyatt was provided and completed as required,” a spokesman said.

The producers behind Gosnell have had an uphill battle pretty much since the beginning of the project. They started a fundraiser on Kickstarter, only to to have the fundraiser censor their fundraiser due to its pro-life nature. The creators then switched to another fundraising campaign site called Indiegogo and promptly raised $2.3 million over the course of 45 days in donations from over 30,000 people. The campaign set a new record for the site for the most amount of money ever raised in that time span.

California Family Council previously reported that NPR  totally shut down an attempt by the producers of the Gosnell movie to run a movie promotion and purchase airtime for an ad using the words “abortionist” and “abortion doctor.”

The terms “abortionist” and “abortion doctor” were to be used to refer to the late serial abortionist Kermit Gosnell. However, leaked emails reveal that NPR executives insisted that the term “abortionist” be changed to “doctor.” The producers responded with a request to use the term “abortion doctor,” but NPR still refused. Ultimately, the producers were not able to run the $300,000 of ads they had planned.

Filmmaker Phelim McAleer stated that the mainstream media still has yet to write a major story about them, or the project.
