Leana Wen Wants Killing Babies to be More Common

Planned Parenthood’s new CEO, Leana Wen is tarnishing the name of modern medicine by trying to assert that killing a baby in an abortion is “standard medical care.”

Wen is the former health commissioner for the city of Baltimore, and also an emergency room physician. At the time she became the President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Wen shocked and angered many when she launched her tenure by using a woman’s death from a botched abortion to advocate for more abortions.

Wen took to Twitter a few days before the holidays to claim abortion is standard medical care that is a basic right all women deserve.

“Planned Parenthood services, from birth control to cancer screenings and abortion, are standard medical care,” Wen wrote. “Reproductive healthcare is healthcare.”

Planned Parenthood is the single largest provider of abortion in the United States, responsible for more than 321,384 abortions last year.
The number of abortions committed by the abortion giant last year brought the total to over 7.6 million babies killed by Planned Parenthood since it legally began performing abortions in 1973 following the Roe v. Wade decision. 7.6 million is a catastrophically large number, but that’s not even taking into account the number of babies killed by Planned Parenthood illegally, before the Roe v. Wade decision was decided by the United States Supreme Court.

After her initial tweet, Wen followed up with a tweet attempting to defend the so-called right to abortion as women’s healthcare.

Wen’s tweets directly contradict the catchphrase often touted by Planned Parenthood that they want abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare.” According to Wen, she (and Planned Parenthood) want the killing of babies to become widely accepted, and more common.
