HGTV Fixer Uppers Chip & Joanna Gaines Attacked for Attending Church That Actually Believes the Bible

Chip and Joanna Gaines are the hosts of Fixer Uppers on HGTV. Their show has helped Waco, Texas become a tourist destination. Chip and Joanna Gaines are devout Christians and don’t attempt to hide their faith on their television program.

Chip and Joanna recently came under blistering fire by several pathetic “media outlets” like Cosmopolitan, who ran a “news story” reporting that “Chip and Joanna Gaines’s Pastor Preaches ‘Homosexuality is a Sin’.”Buzzfeed ran a similar headline, “Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Church is Firmly Against Same-Sex Marriage.

The real headline here is that Chip and Joanna are being attacked by the mainstream, leftist media simply for attending a non-denominational megachurch.

According to ToddStarnes.com, Buzzfeed even went so far as to investigate Pastor Seibert’s sermons – demonstrating that what is preached from the pulpit at Antioch Community Church is the same kind of message being preached in nearly every evangelical church in America.

“This is nothing more than a modern-day witch hunt,” Starnes stated.

David and Jason Benham are two former professional baseball players and local twin brothers who live and operate a business in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Benham Brothers lost their hit show Flip it Forward on HGTV because of their religious beliefs.

In a video released on Facebook, David and Jason said that the Gaines aren’t anti-anything. “Chip and Joanna are a wonderful family, and [they are believers in Jesus]”… Jason said. “They are pro-God, they’re pro Bible, they’re pro-people, they’re pro-Jesus, and what’s happening here is a with hunt. This bully mafia agenda wants to go after Chip and Joanna Gaines and their family and HGTV, and then all of their contracts… and try to bully this family into submission.”

The Benham’s urged supporters of Chip and Joanna to go on Facebook and support the Gaines by liking their page and buying their products.

“When David and I got fired [from HGTV] our very first phone call we got in support of us and our beliefs was from Chip Gaines, and now we want to support him,” Jason Benham said.

Millions of Americans need to stand with Chip and Joanna and vocalize their support for them and push back on the leftist media bullies and let them know that enough is enough.

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council said:

The Left is trying to do to Chip and Joanna Gaines what they unsuccessfully did to the Robertsons of “Duck Dynasty”: take down a hugely successful program in a show of political force. That’s unlikely to happen to a couple like the Gaines, who have no interest in renovating their views to suit a narrow ideology. Hopefully, HGTV has learned since its ousting of the Benham Brothers that religious discrimination doesn’t play well with viewers.
